I dunno if I'm missing some discourse somewhere, but I'm so happy to see several oomfs talk about how it's not cool to be elitist over OC concepts

Don't get me wrong, it's okay to have prefs on what kind of OCs you like, but man there is no reason to be openly mean about things

Tsubaki and Oyuun both come from tragedy; how they deal with that tragedy is where they differ. Kiki rises above it, gains friends, and is a paragon of selflessness.

Oyuun gets bitter, and becomes paraoid, petty, and relentlessly selfish. I use her to safely explore some of my darker story ideas.

Learning is a big theme in all my OCs. Sie graduated from the Studium, Tsubaki is an avid nonfiction reader, and Oyuun's entire gimmick is learning really fast.

They're also all thrust out of their homes for one reason or another; none of my OCs want to be or are allowed to be at home.

time to go all out, writers. what themes do you explore in your WoL/OCs character?

for example; aurora tackles themes of femininity, motherhood, womanhood, (in some cases) religion. For me when i make decisions as small as gender it can completely alter how I write a character!!

It's really clean! I did some custom things with the psd, and the crystal cutouts etc. made it really easy to mask what was needed.

it feels harsh to say out loud, but ur own self-loathing is far more likely to make other people loathe being around you than anything you feel is "bad" or "cringe" or "embarrassing". learn to love yourself unabashedly. not only will people react more strongly, but you yourself will feel better.
