Sincerely, my family has gone to this place for decades (the former owner knew all our names & business) It's the American/Chinese food I judge all others by. It's the spot I'd take out of state friends to visit. Now... id be embarrassed.

So, given the SNAP crisis & that stupid DNC memo making the rounds it's important to revisit Reagan's decade long effort to demonize gov't spending on poor people by inventing the welfare queen lie. He's doing this as early as January of 1976. Please note the response from the crowd at the end.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Woke up to the smell of ass (no fun reason) so I went on a 4am hunt for my dog who wasn't in her bed but downstairs on the couch. And beside the back door a single 💩. As annoying as having an excellent sense of smell can be it's reassuring that if a fire started at night I would probably survive.
