We can't just flip a switch & turn manufacturing back on. We've become so removed as a society from the actual process of how our goods are made that many of us don't realize most of the factories are bulldozed and the machinery scrapped.

My brain is in that odd, post art project phase where it zings around looking for a new project.* So far it's mashed up "Don't Fear the Reaper" and Pearl Jam's "Rearview Mirror" and ordered me to learn welding so I can make a "War Miata."

*It wants nothing to do with ongoing half finished projects
