I think about this... often. I think Travis is funny and I kinda feel bad that everyone calls him stupid because that's mean (he also probably has the Internet!) but I also realllly hate the intense masculine anger that they both show and they everyone says is okay because they're football players

I feel this all the time. It's really hard, but I learn repeatedly that I'd rather be someone that feels things very deeply. Despite that knowledge, it does feel really, truly shitty a lot of the time to feel like you care about others more than they care about you.

I'm ready to see her burn it all down, but I think the 16 months comment on the podcast is her timeline. This year is her honoring her career in her own words & power, ending the Era. Next year is the start of a life without constant reinvention and performative identities. Hang on a little longer.

I love Alyson Stoner! Two minutes in and she's already quoted Divergent Minds (I recommend this book!), given trigger warnings (it's a long list), asked us to take a break to ground ourselves if the content is too much, and said there are crisis support resources at the end of the book.
