Azine's informal free housing arrangement is about to end abruptly. We don't know when; it could be at any time. We need to raise money to get her into an Airbnb as quickly as we can manage.

We don't have the resources for long-term solutions, so I'm just keeping her alive as long as I can.

Transcript: Azine's Story
Azine travels the world to meet people dear to her. That is her reason for living, as she doesnt know how much time she has left. This goes for everyone, especially with how the world is today. Goes extra for her because of heart-lung disease from birth + a series of embolisms in 2016.

Embolisms are kept at bay by medication, due to having had more than one. Dystonia and seizures, were made worse by Lyme disease (tick bite 2009). MCAS, probably from birth, is made a lot worse by environmental toxins. She takes 4 antihistamines including compounded ketotifen (expensive) in very high doses to keep her skin from peeling off & to keep limited food down.
"I dont have access to health insurance, even though that is mandatory where I was born.Because people with Lyme and ME/CFS are routinely denied healthcare, persecuted, and jailed in psychiatric hospitals. That is why I became a traveler/refugee. That is why my mom, who still lives there, is deep in debt. Because there was never gov. support or funding for me, not even welfare."

My wife and I are both disabled and doing everything we can to stay afloat — I work full time and pick up side gigs, and she does what she can despite her health. Every month feels like survival mode.

Right now, we need $120 by Oct 27th to renew our car tags on both vehicles. It also happens to be my birthday that day, and being able to take care of this would lift such a huge weight off our shoulders. Our cars are how we get to work, do side gigs, and keep surviving.

Dr Flowers has a much larger network to help Mutual Aid requests as well.

I think Łink and i came to a similar conclusion when ppl started posting their friend circles publicly on Fridays. We can celebrate our friends and community best by supporting them.
