My TV/movie viewing was strictly curbed as a kid which meant that I was obsessed with stuff I was not allowed to see and had to base my opinions of on the rare TV advertisements I'd catch watching sports. For this reason stuff like KRULL and ICE PIRATES resonated as much as STAR WARS or MAD MAX

Krull is on Tubi. Far from a great film, but with the Superman, the Movie guy handling VFX & Cronenberg's cinematographer on 10 movies shooting it, it's a feast for the eyes. Initially forgot who did the score but instantly thought "this sounds like James Horner recycling himself," and yeah, it was.
