Fun fact: we found a street where they have really great trees for decorative purposes. So far I'd say we're the only people who pick them for use!

Tip: Germans I talked to only knew the quince jam but it also works great in stews or cooked in rice.

Seeds are great remedy for coughs & sore throat.

I have this thing where my mum asks if I'm in a work meeting every time she needs sth or wants to talk, implying that nothing else could count as me being busy or unavailable.
I recently learned to say that no, I'm not, but I'm busy nonetheless

I've been on a quest of reading from different parts of the world, this year it's Zimbabwe. It's much better to find authors and poets people from those parts enjoy themselves than those recommended by mostly dominant cultures. (Economically dominant)
