If I heard correctly, gaming revenue is expected to be down "strong double digits" but client revenue increasing.
The semi-custom increase is preparation for the holiday sales season, Su says.
Desktop CPU sales reached an all-time high, and Ryzen notebooks also increased sharply, AMD CEO Lisa Su says.
When Data Center outperforms Client and Gaming by $300M, you begin the call with Data Center details ;)

Well, that and AI.
AMD client revenue is a record $2.8B, up 46% y-over-y, on record sales of Ryzen processors and a richer product mux. Gaming revenue up 181% to $1.3B on semi-custom, Radeon. All told, Client & Gaming up 74% to $4B.

Data Center: $4.3B rev, up 22%.
AMD reports third-quarter net income of $1.2B (up 61% year over year) on record revenue of $9.246B, up 36% year over year. Outlook is $9.6B +/- $300M. EPS is $0.75, non-GAAP $1.20.

Analysts (Yahoo Finance) expected EPS of $1.17 on revenue of $8.75B with an outlook of $9.2B.
This is a brilliant thread. Worth reading.
Big day at U.S. District Court in D.C. where Sean Dunn, the D.C. Sandwich Guy, is on trial for misdemeanor assault of a federal officer.

Border Patrol agent Gregory Lairmore is on the stand narrating surveillance video of the sammie toss.

'Now he’s struck me with the sandwich,' Lairmore says.

I'm pretty sure it was this Dick Cheney comic that got me fired from The Washington Post. It was the first time they refused to run one of my weekly comics (after over ten years), and my comic was discontinued soon after.

📧 Years before Google, “Gmail” was a fan email service on Garfield․com; perfect for anyone who hates Mondays.

It vanished like lasagne into Garfield's belly, but pawprints remain on the #WaybackMachine ⤵️

If you want to know one reason that I'm a college football fan, look back at the World Series. The stuck ball. The short lead. 18-inning games. Lore. Weirdness.

The NFL is professional and boring. CFB is 5OT games, the Piss and Miss, the Kick Six, Belichick's GF. Lore. Weirdness.
May I ask which dock? I review them and am always interested in good/bad experiences.

Q: Americans have been watching videos of ICE tackling a young mother, tear gas being used in a Chicago residential neighborhood, and the smashing of car windows. Have some of these raids gone too far?"

Trump: "No. I think they haven't gone far enough”
My (media!) company had just gone public, and I made about $35K or so. I owned Gran Turismo (might have been GT2) and the Subaru Impreza 2.5RS was a cheap, fun, starter car. So I literally bought one in 2000 for $27K. (I was young.)

25 years later, still have it
gran turismo 1 had such a vibe. and it aged like wine. those cars were contemporary at the time, but now the whole game is kind of an artifact, a snapshot of automotive history and culture in '98. well deserved success
Car shopping beneath the night city lights like it's 1998 all over again. 🚗💨

Four aces beats all hearts. Good series, Blue Jays. #worldseries
I honestly can't believe what Yamamoto is doing here. He pitched last night! My arm would feel like jello the day after I pitched. I mean, he iced last night, right?
OMG THIS GAME

Extra innings in Game 7 of the World Series!
Fourth down stop and then they throw a pick six the next play to ice it.
Well, that's Cal football right there.
Canada has had its heart broken, hard, twice this series.
