I usually do this post after the con, but not this year. I want you to know who organized Can*Con 2025, because I see how much work they do every year, and how hard they're working now to get as many details right as humanly possible, and I am eternally grateful and impressed.

Our Consuite Concierge! For years, Morris Rothman shows up, takes care of the consuite and its guests for the entire weekend, and then vanishes into the night again, until the next con. He's kind and fun, and just loves to keep everyone fed, caffeinated, and entertained.

The very adaptable and kind @marcocult.bsky.social started as our tech lead, then turned into our Sched lead, and this year, he's plugged in holes in our tech infrastructure by writing a script and creating all small panelist schedules (that slips in name badges). He thought it was fun, even!

We also have @jamiesonwolf.bsky.social, our thoughtful Accessibility Coordinator who brings all the sparkles! Their kindess and care has been a guiding light in keeping the con accessible, and to help everyone feel welcome. It's an important job and Jamieson has been wonderful, as always.

Stephanie Anne ran in like Snyder fast zombies (she's a horror writer, she'd like that). She does a bunch of events around town and so not only shares hundreds of Can*Con cards a year to help new writers learn about us, but she also meticulously wrangled all special events, like launches!

For our first Virtual Can*Con, this unknown soul contacted us to ask if she could help, and she's been a serious unicorn. That's @moniqueac.bsky.social! She is our registration and volunteer lead, our Virtual Tech Lead, and is just a force in the SFF community (like, I swear, in every event).

You might not even be aware that @tylergoodier.bsky.social is part of the concom, but he's positively everywhere with his positivity and humour! He's our Vendors Room lead, our AV lead, and has also donated his front hall closet as a Can*Con storage space. (He wasn't using it, I'm told.)

Shadowy and at times hiding in a cave, @gianttourtiere.bsky.social is the voice of Can*Con on most social media channels, and he's handled everything with grace, charm, and humour. He lends wisdom to programming and ops, and keep everyone on their toes and laughing (it's a good combo).
