They are conned by those who live off wealth.

Exactly my point.

A very large portion of people who live off wages eagerly vote to empower those who live off wealth if they will only promise to give them racism & cruelty.

Noticed Nick Clegg at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, the man who tripled university tuition fees after saying it was something he would do “over my dead body”.

Have the LibDems ever apologised for this?

Hard to believe them when they have not owned up to the bad things they did in Coalition

You may be right. However, our media is dominated by journalists who are from well-off families and who have been expensively and privately eductated

Could that have anything to do with the fact they are pretty universally against a wealth tax, inheritance tax and abolishing VAT on private schools?

I don't know if it is just a corporate thing. Labour in the 70s looked into it and didn't bother. The problem is it is a huge faff and has unwanted economic impacts but you don't raise much money from it. I'm open to the possibility, but it isn't exactly a panacea.

We are scared to go for the billionaires so how do we demonstrate our power.

Hey, I’ve got it: let’s go for immigrants.

Cowtailing to the rich and powerful and attacking the vulnerable is literally the opposite of what Labour was founded to do.

Most voters want a wealth tax.

Why not Labour?

Because they don’t want to upset their corporate donors.

I’ve had LibDem candidates knock on my front door & claim they are the party of the NHS.

In 2012 they helped the Tories force throught the NHS-crippling Health & Social Care Bill.

They also played a role in cutting NHS bed cuts. which is behind the caused the queues of ambulances outside hospitals

Whilst not my Party of choice, I have heard quite a few admit the sh!t of the Coalition years, with respect to their Party's part in it.

And none have a kind word for Clegg.

Damn right! NEVER trust a LibDem. Especially a clown of a leader.

Centrists have failed to stem the rise of the far-right GLOBALLY.

Think Macron, think Germany’s centrists, think Kamala Harris…

So why, does Labour think it will work for them in the UK?

The famous definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result

According to Americans, I live in a socialist country. As if it was a bad thing. I think they confuse socialism with stalinism, which corrupted the system to the ruling class profit. Which other political systems has been corrupted to the ruling class profit?

Look at these stats for female prisons in the UK (2013). They show it’s not unusual for ~50% of staff to be men..

Given controversy about possibility of trans women in female spaces, why is it never mentioned there are so many men in female prisons?

Yes - if recent years have taught us anything, in the UK as well, it is that no matter how absurd, laughable, incompetent, and corrupt a politician might be, that is no impediment to achieving high office ...

Possibly the highlight of the 2017 election was his clearly graceless face in defeat to a candidate who'd had his student debt tripled by him.

A party of principle who dropped their knickers the moment David Cameron fluttered his eyelashes at them deserved nothing less than that humiliation.

The fundamental divide is between…

Those who live off wages

And those who live of wealth

But those who live of wealth will do everything in their power to convince you the divide is between immigrants and non-immigrants, black and white, trans and non-trans…

… ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE REALITY.
