We didn’t deserve anything out of that. Brentford were better and fully worth the points. #lfc nowhere near an acceptable level, shockingly bad at the moment. 2nd to everything, no press, all over the place defensively. The whole thing is a mess.

This is where stats don’t match what’s happening in front of your eyes. No one can watch that first half and say Brentford aren’t deservedly ahead. We’ve had a couple high xG opportunities that skew it, but Brentford have been nearly in countless times when we’ve done nothing but pop it around

Yeah very good second half from the reds, but as you say, Frankfurt were poor and offered nothing. As the saying goes though, you can only beat what’s in front of you, and they did that emphatically. Still worrying how easy it is for teams to create chances against us, that needs to change.
