In fairness to Frank, I don't think he's the type to hide. Everyone always used to do a lap of the pitch when he was at Brentford.

Players need to respect fans regardless of the result just as fans have to respect players.

I would have done had the ceiling been beyond reach and/or if the area was bigger and without 5 ceiling mounted spotlights to negotiate.

It doesn't make much sense to me either. The only thing I can think of is he's familiar with the club and most of the playing staff so he might be in a better position to turn things round quicker than someone coming in afresh. Against is that some of those players stopped playing for him.

Disagree with Shearer and Williams saying it's ok for 2 players to walk straight off, going against the manager's desire for them to join the rest in acknowledging the fans. The fans deserve respect.

I thought the law stipulated thathitting the arm above where a short sleeve would be wasn't handball regardless of intent.

FWIW, I thought it hit his shoulder.

No need. I have a telescopic extension pole but the ceiling is within arm's reach at around 7ft 9ins - 8ft.
