I think I enjoyed this more than The Eraser and TMB but... I can't really confidently remember those albums in full so I don't know how confident I am about that assertion

but in general, yeah, I liked it :) I will give it more listens to see how my opinion changes

I liked the very simplistic vibe it had, it utilized what it had really well

just... maybe... some of the tracks went on a bit too long, especially ones without much changing throughout

Not the News is obviously my favorite so far

overall thoughts on ANIMA:

I would say kind of hit-or-miss
the hits were DAMN good, and the misses were not even that bad

like most of Thom's music, it tends to take time to grow on me, so a track I called "alright" now could become a favorite later on
