I was a dance teacher(my mom’s school), art teacher, and now Art therapist. I always acknowledge kids first. That was my point. I’ve observed a sense of ownership by parents in my experience. This is magnified during adolescence.

And this is usually during a conversation I am having with them. Not just saying adorable usually I acknowledge their creativity or presence.

I work with kids (30yrs) and usually they say I know.

Murkowski built her reputation as a bipartisan during Administrations that didn’t test her. When actual courage was needed she capitulated, fearing for her safety. And now her flood ravaged constituents will have no practical FEMA support to rebuild their lives. Lisa will be fine however.

Pediatricians are facing an ethical dilemma: drop unvaccinated families to protect other patients or keep them and hope they change their minds. If we’re talking about free will, that goes both ways, doctors have the right and duty to protect their patients. Drop the families.

You know what I find strange about some parents, a large number of them, when you meet their child (5 or 6 yrs) and you say oh my god you’re adorable & then the mom says thank you? It’s weird.

I've never understood some men's obsession with having children (especially male children) as a form of leaving a legacy. Especially since those same men rarely want to help raise those kids. An individual person isn't a monument to your DNA. You didn't actually accomplish anything but reproduce.
