(Apparently even on-patch extremes are designed to be done with less than BiS, meaning if you do have BiS you can have a marginally easier time; this does not really apply to Unreals, I'm being told.)

I've been informed that the reason that one is tougher than the EX I practiced is that Unreals are iLevel synced to the level of AF gear - meaning, you can't simply outgear it.

3 hours of prog, we hit the enrage multiple times. Didn't quite clear, but I have all the mechs down. (I've practiced the EX but that was tougher than I'd expected - but now I'm confident I can clear.)

Newbie looking to run Unreal for the first time

Either later today or tomorrow, I'm going to try to jump over to Aether and grab a PF for the Unreal. If any of the high-end content enjoyers would like to join, I would not mind. I have been practicing Wreath of Snakes EX but I'm not anywhere near flawless yet, and I have less experience playing SCH at level 100. And my only other level 100 job is SMN - which, no. So it would be nice to have a patient group (or at least a group not consisting of 7 randos) with me, because odds are I will screw it up once or twice.

The cutscene at the end of the level 80 DNC job quest is outstanding. I happened to do it while wearing the ShB AF set. That set is orientalist af, but it's the same set Ranaa Mihgo wears so it means we were matching. Which...in that particular cutscene, goes a *long* way to making it cool to watch.

oooh, I've got that unlocked at last.

Might need to seek a static at last, or at least a group of people who do high-end content on the regular. I was hoping my IRL would settle a smidge more before I began seeking that, but I don't really want to miss out on Hollows if I can avoid it.
