In those cases I try really hard to just be mentally charitable and go - maybe they have a disability that affects their energy/ability to carry things distances etc because just thinking "yeah this person cant imagine not using their car" breaks me lol

Doesnt help that my parents endlessly yelled at me to stay off the phone. Only use the phone to communicate the minimum! We will never pay for call waiting!

Once went to a music fest and they were one of the last on main stage. I left early to go to my camping spot and sleep and the sound carried so perfectly to my tent location I couldnt even escape it.
