Best 3 minutes you will spend on the internet today.
Gov. Red Vest, of course, has lost his ever-loving mind over this. Good.
In what is perhaps the most cutthroat move I've seen Virginia Democrats do in the General Assembly over the last decade, the General Assembly convenes tomorrow to try and begin the process of implementing a DEM gerrymander.

Here's your preview from me:

Virginia Democrats Call for “Scottmander” Redistricting Session - State Navigate
Nazi affinities, jokes about killing colleagues, speeding, and wishing for the death of police officers: just another month in Virginia politics.

Sums it up well.
Republicans are lazy.

They gerrymander their way into power and never lift a finger again. Do you think they have ever put a petition together and worked hard enough to get something on the ballot and then knocked doors to get voters out so it will pass?

No. They are lazy freeloading sloths.

It's exactly what Red Vest is doing.

"I think that the governor is protecting Republican candidates," Alex Keena, political science professor at VCU added. "This is not good for Virginians, and obviously Republicans are the ones who will get blamed if the full scope of this comes to light."
Gov. Glenn Youngkin's administration is not providing Virginia legislators or the public details of hundreds of millions of dollars of paused federal grants, according to records requests and documents acquired by @vpm.org and @wamu.org.

The governor's office has twice cited "working papers" in response to records requests.

And then #WinsomeLoseSome doesn't talk to anyone on her bus tour.
Former Trump campaign Co-Chair on Winsome Earle-Sears' “Operation Defend and Deliver” — “It just doesn’t mean anything!”

If Sears' messaging isn't breaking through to John Fredericks, it certainly isn't breaking through to Virginians.

Sinclair is caving and bringing back Kimmel.

Money, folks. Public pressure. They dont have the numbers. Remember this and increase the efforts.
It's also why #MAGAMike wants a government shutdown.
Grijalva: I was looking at the example of now-Representative Walkinshaw from Virginia, who was elected two weeks ago Tuesday. The following Wednesday—less than 24 hours later—he was sworn in, with unofficial results.

So for me, apparently the rules have now changed in just two weeks.

Per @jaaavis.bsky.social, "Republican Party of Virginia Executive Director Ken Nunnencamp sent an email to the GOP Victory Campaign staff informing them that if they do not meet their goals by this Sunday, they will be terminated."

Kinda hard to meet statewide door knocking with only 12 organizers.
To keep people with dementia from becoming agitated and aggressive, one has to sit there, nod their head, and agree with everything they say. MSM won't talk about it because they know they'll get sued.

I wrote down some notes on privatization and the transfer of wealth. Tell the MAGA in your lives that they’re subsidizing billionaires by voting for republicans.

Joe Walsh's "fellow 2nd Amendment guys" love that the government tyranny is being brought onto the people they hate. These guys will be singing a different tune when #firstfelon declares martial law and comes for their guns.

And if the global economy collapses because the US defaults on its debt, #MAGAMike, it will be your and your cult leader's fault. Can't blame Biden for this one, buddy.

Medicaid is called different names in different states. In Virginia, it's Cardinal Care. If someone says this bill is not going to affect them, ask them the name of their insurer. They may be very surprised.

3/ MCDC members, our friends, families, and neighbors do our best to respect the property rights and First Amendment rights of others to display campaign signs. We expect our neighbors on the other side of the political spectrum to do the same.”
2/ Under Virginia law, this is petty larceny because the sign is valued at less than $1,000. Punishment is up to 12 months in jail and up to including a $2,500 fine or a combination of both. MCDC is asking property owners to report sign thefts and vandalism to the Sheriff’s Office.
