they brought kindergarten to Appalachia and I was fortunate to be in the first ever class in my Southwest Virginia county, they gave us our immunizations, vitamins, cleaned our teeth and set us up for an improved quality of life.

My mom skipped my happy ass down to Head Start the moment they opened.

She was a frustrated SAHM who hated every minute of it. Hid in a bottle. She had my baby sister before she was able to break free and go back to work.

When I was a young newly divorced mom of two girls and going back into the workforce Head Start saved me and my girls.
It breaks my heart that this essential program will be no more.

Thought I’d just pass on some relationship advice my grandma once gave to me: if you’re unhappy with your partner or spouse why don’t you take their spare car key, lift their car from work and park it round the corner from your house. Then have it resprayed, re-registered, then fly to Krakow x

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.
