The destruction of the East Wing really bums me out in a way that I wasn't expecting.

I guess some of it is about the destruction of history. But I think it's mostly about the feeling of helplessness. There's nothing we can do to stop him.

Nobody is coming to save us. And it's going to get worse.

How many times has a judge passed a Stop, Restitution or Guilty decision on the Clown Prince? Dozens of times for everything from fraud to rape. He ignores every single one. What happens? Nothing. Not a damned thing. Why would he respect the law?

One fascinating thing you notice if you see what NR writers post on social media and write in NR during Trump 2: the strong tendency simply to ignore what Trump says and does. Almost no mention of Trump's wild speech at Kirk's memorial. No discussion of Trump's "diarrhea on American" video. Etc.

It’s not just about a child feeling hungry. The message the child also gets is that they aren’t important enough to be fed. They feel unloved and less than, as well as hungry. That’s how I used to feel anyway when I was a youngster and withdrawal of food was a punishment. No kid should go hungry.
