I was raised Muslim and regularly attended mosques + went to an Islamic school. I can tell you that at no mosque or school that I knew of was there any open attempt to recruit attendees to foreign militias. can you say the same for synagogues? if not, the false equivalence doesn’t apply here.

2. many Palestinian resistance fighters have said that anyone is free to live in Palestine as long as they consent to equal rights for everyone

stop doing this, the OP was not making any of the claims you’re trying to argue against. there IS a majority of synagogues freely recruiting to the IDF and actively supporting the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians

I would interpret it as “this is an issue that the DSA needs to address if they want to appeal to more people if the Nazis are doing better than then” without any further context than just the tweet. While also knowing about her and her work, I don’t see how I could interpret it any differently

at its core, a left-wing organisation that purports to represent the interests of workers should also work to include people with disabilities, and Taylor was chiming into the discussion with her own experience. she was trying to link poor performance of the DSA with accessibility issues
