I kind of like this idea of the loss of passport power, most of which is due to Trump, as a sign of America’s declining global power, most of which is due to Trump.
There are several reasons why the U.S. has experienced a rapid decline, most of which are related to the Trump Administration’s strict new immigration guidelines. “The declining strength of the US passport over the past decade is more than just a reshuffle in rankings — it signals a fundamental shift in global mobility and soft power dynamics,” Chairman of Henley & Partners Christian Kaelin said in a statement. “Nations that embrace openness and cooperation are surging ahead, while those resting on past privilege are being left behind.”

I’ve come up with a solution to the bathroom debate. We have one set of bathrooms for trans women and the vast majority of cis women who are totally fine using bathrooms with them, and another set exclusively for the small minority of cis women who have problems with trans women.

I know you’re right, Niv. I really hope these protests move the needle, but like you, I sort of think there are more powerful tools. Plus, I’m going to my 14 year old’s band review on Saturday. They are so excited, and absolutely nothing could be more important to me.

The govt shutdown is on track to be at least the 5th longest in US history. Wanna know the longest? 34 days during Trump’s 1st term. That shutdown was over $5.7B Trump wanted for the border wall. He got $1.7B. A reminder that President Deals has always been bad and cruel at making actual deals.
