Here's a reminder: start recording. If a cop, security guard, etc. approaches you and what they're doing doesn't sound right, record it. Get names, get peoples faces, ask questions, record as much as you can. Get your friends to record, cover your bases, and then take it higher.

Educating people so they think before being bigoted is important, but I'm just so tired. I've spent my life trying to get my family to understand that im making decisions because I /want/ to, why do I have to do it to strangers online too. It's just so much.

Also they didn't check tickets for anyone who was there waiting when doors opened. I assume that drunk guy was from the previous event and the whole situation of them jumping into someone's drag performance could've been avoided had the only let people who bought tickets to the show... anyway

I'm not security, I don't regular this venue but idk man. I'm tired of security getting complexes and treating their patrons poorly lately. Feeling like I'm being watched makes an event extremely uncomfortable imo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Someone drunkenly got on stage with the drag performers for an uncomfortably long time without interference (security never interfered with this issue at all iirc) and then they just stood and mean mugged everyone on the dance floor from the stairs for the entire duration of the event

Idk the situation but when they finally opened the doors to the back room they turned to someone sitting and holding a cane and rudely went "well go in if you want to" after not saying anything to anyone for over an hour while the other event finished
