Getting back into it, and I've leveled up to physical books! The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz is one of the best reads in a long while. A tragic tale of a hoplessly romantic nerd and his family history, filled cover to cover with scifi/fantasy, and nerd culture nods.

2/ If you read Flowers for Algernon, I'd probably recommend the short story rather than the novel. Battle Royale doesn't hold up to the hunger games yet, especially when my favorite character, Shinji, is gone. Although I'm still rage reading for Mitsuko.

Busy reading week: #InheritanceCycle, #LotR, #TheGrapesofWrath, #FlowersforAlgernon, and #BattleRoyale. Overall, I liked the Inhertiance cycle, but Brisingr almost put me off of it. LotR is just beautiful words ASMR (Rob Inglis), and Sam is one of my favorite characters ever. 1/
