#Melissa has made landfall in #Jamaica, and has preliminarily tied the record for the lowest pressure of any landfalling hurricane in Atlantic history: 892 mb. That was last observed 90 years ago with the 1935 Labor Day hurricane.
The storm does not look like it even notices Jamaica being there.

Not necessarily. Existing colleges could be used for that purpose. Some already have (or used to) programs preparing students for university. Like Mohawk's General Arts and Science Diploma. It would be a matter of repurposing those programs.

More than 20,000 people died of heat-related causes this summer in Europe. Climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of heat waves. This can be difficult to adapt to, especially in European cities that generally lack air conditioning.
