Looking at this from the perspective of an avid USL2 and @vermontgreenfc.bsky.social fan: YES this proposed plan may prevent some of the elite prospects of college soccer playing in the USL2 over the summer, BUT that might give an opportunity for high level HS players to get those spots instead?

MLS is using generative AI to write match recaps. Writers used to get paid freelance rates to do that. Hssssss.
