I use Lightroom with RNI version 5. I usually apply some hard fade and light grain as well in the first edit. Then I export this (usually with a frame in Lightroom Mobile) in 16 bits TIF ProPhoto RGB and apply the second edits/filter on top of that to create things difficult to do on the original.
