The lack of magitek, even compared to recently conquered Ala Mhigo, was a bit of a shock to Lkhagvasuren. She really missed conveniences like microwaves and radios.

Having spent a lot of time in the Far East, the distinction between normal races and "beast tribes" also greatly confused her.

get her new I.D. in the name of "Lkhagvasuren Khadagan" with her race simply listed as "Au Ra", which probably feels off and "false" in her head.

Even after the ARR, she likely just keeps using that I.D., as it's all she has and how she's legally recognized in Eorzea, but it's still "wrong" to her.

Aelius and Sarantsatsral travelled. This'd also mean that on her actual passport and whatever other kinds of government issue I.D. she'd have had as a child, she'd be "Lkhagvasuren aan Khadagan".

It'd also probably list her as a "half-Xaela", even if garlean paperwork probably wouldn't list what 🔽

Had the strange thought that from a her own PoV, Lkhagvasuren is running around with a "fake I.D." 90% of the time, but not for the reasons that'd be expected.

She was born in Corvos, in an actual hospital. So that'd mean she'd have an actual birth certificate that'd be used for travel papers when🔽

While she is an alcoholic, it takes a lot for her to get drunk

I stopped drinking in my early 20s, because I kept doing dumb shit when I drank (hello family history of alcoholism), so my tolerance on the rare occasions I do drink is kind of meh and I avoid getting full on drunk

Unlike canon where "the scions did it" comes out of left field with little to justify it, Lkhagvasuren's status as a half-Garlean is uncovered, and used to paint a conspiracy with her as a Garlean agent corrupting the Scions from within ⬇️

I don't think it's clumsy, I think it's always fun to see people integrate old "internet usernames" into the past/lore of characters, especially when the name change is spun into a change for that character

It's a neat sort of "proof" in a way, of how a character has evolved and come into their own
