Fun fact, the crest is actually a patchwork version of my family's old crest. The family got tossed out of Florence but not before helping to write some famous self insert RPF Bible fanfic.

On a side note, having played Tides I gotta say it's worth playing, but better if you don't compare it to Torment. It's a good intro to the Numenera setting, but definitely not on the same level as Planescape.

This may be a bit of a hot take, but the way that online queer discourse uses the word valid is rhetorically similar to how the right co-opted the word woke.

It has become a word with no real definition, a thought terminating cliché used in place of a real argument, meant to signal ones politics.
