I agree they’re great, I held onto them even as the TVs in my house were replaced with smart TVs over the years, but I think they’re running thin on what they can do to differentiate the product from just using the built-in smart TV apps.

The problem is the “contractually prevented” part. One plumber is in the house doing a ton of illegal shit and there’s no one to stop him and the other plumber is standing around outside doing absolutely nothing except pointing and going “he can’t do that, that’s against the rules.”

“What do you want them to do” — look at what’s been done in any of the countries who’ve dealt with this exact same issue in the past 200 years or so and get some ideas about what’s worked.
