Lots to say about No Kings rallies, but for now just this: anyone who thinks this was "terrorism" is fucked in the head.

How do you respond to those extremist "Christian" evangelical nationalists (and the Gospel of St Kirk, Peace be upon Him)?

Jimmy Kimmel didn't kill Charlie Kirk. But Kirk's death has set the terms by which McFascist thinks he can punish people whenever and however harshly he feels like it. He already thought that, but this makes it easier. And McFascist's glee about this cuts directly against his supposed grief.
Bye bye free speech. We’ll miss you more than I can say.

This is another one of those "conceding the frame" problems. By arguing that crime is worse in the states that are sending National Guard troops to DC, we're conceding the connection between the National Guard and law enforcement.

The National Guard has nothing to do with policing. Full stop.
yep yep yep.

My mom's family has been in Florida "since slavery times." My Grandma was born & raised in St. Petersburg. I went to undergrad in Tallahassee. Dozens of relatives still in the Tampa area.

Keeping cool + keeping water and critters out will be a constant challenge.

What I wish for Tricia McLaughlin: may you wake up one morning and see yourself in a mirror as the “uniquely barbaric monster” you are.

We believe in the power of connected action. Scholar & activist Julian Vasquez Heilig dropped an update on universities uniting against Trumpism’s assault on academia. See if your school’s on board—if not, reach out and we’ll help you plug into the movement.
