Nobody thought right-wing techbro libertarianism would be the system yet to be born, but here we are.

Windows 10 goes out of support today. My fave useless fact about w10 is that the iconic blue desktop background is a *photograph* - not CGI.

Tiny 'making of' vid here - youtu.be/_2RacX9DgWM...
Three images showing photographers in a studio, standing around a black curtained area with a projector and a 'Windows' logo etched onto a glass pane. The lower image shows a version of the iconic blue windows background, with blue lasers outlining and passing through an angled Windows logos against a dark background.

Not necessarily. The young ones aren't familiar with email, as they prefer chat clients.

Fasham in Kent must be a very nice place to live. They even do parades with Nazis on tanks driving round the streets at night.

The French want our history.
The Greeks want our history.
The Spanish want our history.
Everyone wants our bleedin’ history.
😡
That’s why I put up our flag.
I don’t want to be erased.

A logical, well thought out argument for why we should all fly our flag with pride!

Careful, or they might re-activate Raoul Ruparel or Patrick Minford.

There are still people who pay him loads of money for his 'expertise'.

Some of them want a good job in the private sector after their political career. They don't want to burn any bridges.

Today, on the train, a Brazilian grandma played very loud accordion music over her phone speakers. I was more flummoxed than annoyed and found it fascinating at the same time.

The modern frozen food industry was invented by a guy called Clarence Birdseye.

The different interacting layers of conspiracy theories are also fascinating. This is from a Facebook group.
Far right gobbledygook and conspiracy theories.

I'd organize annual surfball tournaments at the O2. A 21st-century sport, that will have an especial appeal to young people, invented by Peter Mandelson.

What policy themed visitor trail would you do upon retirement? I would pilgrimage to visit the 100 Rishi Sunak outdoor chess sets around the country. I genuinely think it would be one of those fun random things that would take me to places I’d never otherwise go to

This is probably one of the reasons for the slow death of centre-right politics. Their economic theories have been tried and didn't improve most people's lives. All that's left is bashing immigrants and talking about crime, emboldening the far-right who's currently eating the old centre-right.

probably never been before to stand on a sidewalk opposite a hotel. Until it gets dark and cold and you go back home. A weekend well spent. Incredible.

They talked to each other, repeating a litany of far-right talking points. On the other side of the street was a hotel, protected by temporary fencing panels and a few police officers.
Imagine spending your Sunday like this. Getting on a train to London, to a part of London they have

Today I went for an afternoon walk around Canary Wharf. An odd place, made even stranger by the flags some "patriots" had attached haphazardly to lampposts. They stood in a group of about 20 people, opposite a hotel. They didn't even have banners or anything. They just stood there in discontent.

The print copy of @renewaljournal.bsky.social looks amazing. Really like the design.
A red magazine, Renewal, on a ceramic hob. The latter is turned off.

I heard similar rumours. Here in the UK, they use subsidiaries, like BooHoo Man.

A pump emitting water, the water sprays a bit. Industrial bric-a-brac.

I just saw Tilly Norwood in Catford. She was doing crack with the locals at the car park behind Halfords.
