I’m opening my diary for Christmas commissions in case anyone is interested? Something special for someone special? A piece of original art just for you. This one, now sold is of a wrench gazing at some cherry blossoms against a 23 carat gold leaf background on acid free linen bound board.

Today’s #1000postcards is the Raven, so much bigger than you think This highly intelligent King of the Corvids with its glossy black plumage and cronking calls has a phenomenal place in many cultural folklores From companion to Norse gods to the keeper of England at the Tower of London 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

I don’t suppose it’s very good for them so they only get it when the dog gets cheese. I don’t eat dairy myself

Today’s #1000postcards is the ever popular robin. Singing through the depths of winter which brings us joy.Fiercely territorial and loved by gardeners. This bird will follow you in the garden as you work hoping for the uncovering of earthworms & other delights. Ours love mealworms and grated cheese

The Dunnock may be a common bird but it’s still very beautiful when you look closely at its feathers. Here’s my portrait of one in watercolour from my #1000postcards artwork, depicting the biodiversity of my land, 700ish done so far & still so many waiting to be painted

A few of the moths that live on my land. Taken from my #1000postcards artwork; depicting what biodiversity looks like when land is managed predominantly for nature. Painted in watercolour & displayed in a way that echos museum specimen cabinets. Butterflies of the night

My first ever attempt at making jewellery. A flat sheet of copper beaten into a 3d usable hollow cauldron. Legs and rings filed and soldered into place. Now a handle must be made before the charms that will tell a magic story can be created.

No it’s from a twig of one of the trees on our farm /nature reserve. So outside, it’s their natural habitat. They live amongst the lichen and fern that grow on the trees, temperate rainforest. Birds , mice etc eat them

Those little snails are part of the ecosystem so they’ll be staying

Get ready to see the smallest tiniest snails I’ve ever found. There are three babies and a mummy snail just wondering about about amongst the lichen on this twig I picked up. It’s a little bit of paradise saved from getting crushed by a car on our farm track. Who needs to go on Safari 😂

That “someone” is me. I filmed this painting, which I painted with my phone in my studio.
I produce my own electricity in a renewable way and export the excess to the grid. Your comment is sad, negative and uninformed. I did wonder why you are so negative. Maybe you’re sad ? What’s wrong?

Let’s find ourselves in it.

I just noticed there’s a bit of a conversation going on between the Staffordshire hound and Baba the Elephant on my dresser this morning. I wonder what secrets are being shared.
