We also strive to demystify Mandarin for native English speakers and to empower native Mandarin-speaking expats to pass on their heritage language to their kids.
We make it easier for Mandarin teachers to both access high-quality, relevant and affordable resources for their classrooms and support continued learning in the homes of their students.
We're new here! So we want to tell you (and the algorithm) a little about ourselves... Little Crab Educational Press is a Canadian, sister-owned and women-operated, independent publisher and distributor dedicated to the development of bilingual edutainment products in Simplified Chinese and English.
How did we select the words in our vocabulary builder "ABCs of Holidays Tortoise Tiles" books? It was... not the most straight-forward process.

#MandarinChineseLangSky Would love to hear from all the #Mandarinlearners on here when it comes to their experiences with #Mandarinspeakers saying a word you are using is not the best word for your purposes, only to have other native speakers disagree with them. How do you decide who is right?

Best of luck with the event, Bront'e!
Most people think they’re bad at languages.

The truth? They never learned how to build fluency.

Here's how 👇🏾
THIS. This is right in line with what Rebecca wanted to get across when she created this explainer video: youtu.be/aWk6IcFHXy0?...

I love that one. A total shower-song banger lol. I actually recorded a video we are gonna post soon about that song (but not in the shower 😅).
Haha that's the right attitude! 好好学习! 加油! What song are you studying?
Such good advice! You may already have a "fresh" resource right under your nose.
Don’t forget to look at all the info at the back of your book. In addition to a small dictionary, there may be other great information

Tables of conjunctions & declensions. Lists of irregulars. Notes on dialects

It’s not usually best to try to memorize it outright, but refer to it often.
