I wrote to Governor Hochul earlier this week urging the NYS Department of Health to issue a non-patient specific standing order for the #COVID19 vaccine.

I’m glad that the Governor heeded the call, but we can’t stop there — #NYS must also direct insurance companies to cover the cost of vaccines.

Survivors fleeing domestic violence and other harm must not be saddled with their abuser’s debt.

Once my bill with Senator Cleare is signed, New York State will provide survivors a path to ensure they are no longer held liable for debts forced upon them through abuse & coercion.
