Bondi and Blanche's aides “frustrated” with the answer, blame 20+ year vet prosecutor.

They order Gilbert to sideline that prosecutor.

He refuses; they tell him he’s fired; he resigns.

Well if Watergate was a hoax then that 1974 OLC memo that state *a sitting president cannot be indicted for crime while in office* needs to be discarded. (Created only because Nixon was about to resign before being impeached at same time Agnew was plea bargaining after caught taking bribes)
