I took A level English and Philosophy many, many years ago. Unless it’s changed a lot, Tommy Robinson and his fellow ‘patriots’ would have no chance of passing it. In fact, most wouldn’t pass a basic literacy test.

● this only applies to some people on skilled visas
● it's not "A level English" it's something called SELT
● much the same requirement exists elsewhere in EU
