The CW broadcast said that Lafayette's last win over an FBS* team was in 1971. They are basing this on the fact that they beat Rutgers in Easton 13-7. In fact, Division I and FBS designations didn't even exist then. Lafayette has never heated a I-A FBS team since the D-I designation.

Penn 35, Columbia 21. The Lions battled hard, deadlocked at 21 late in the 3rd until Penn's Liam O'Brien found future NFL WR Jared Richardson to give the Quakers a 28-21 lead. O'Brien had a part of all 5 TDs, 4 passing, 1 rushing.
