every choice in the design of this fight is so Felt. hornet's dash-hit flips *just* tall enough to land behind first sinner when she scuttles. first sinner's needles stick in the background so you can measure your jumps. this also tests the skills you got from both widow AND trobbio.

first sinner is objectively one of my favorite boss battles in the entire game and it's very easy to miss her if you do not find the apostate key, go back to the slab, AND remember that there are multiple doors to open with said apostate key.

[silksong spoilers] i love that all the spinner enemies you fight have an internal logic consistent with their location (widow uses bells bc shes in bellhart) and vibe (grand mother silk doesnt Scuttle), and yet still share common elements as spinners, but are all different fights!!!
