I found out today that a person I've known for like a year and a half is trans. I had no idea! This is not the first time I've been surprised by someone telling me they're trans. I guess that's a good thing? I take people at their word regarding gender expression and don't question it?

Her right foot is still in a cast but we're hoping she can be done with that within a few more weeks/a month. She's had a cast, an air cast, a fixator, or a boot on that foot for over two years now but there's a light at the end of that tunnel

She got up and down the porch steps without help today and I couldn't be prouder

Crystal got her cast off her left foot last week and moved into an air cast. She's able to get around the house a little bit with her walker and it's very exciting.
