I’m not actually a writer, but I have written a few things so here goes:
I can’t help but think of people working in offices, especially the open offices so prevalent now, all talking to their PCs. Glad I’m retired!
Went with the “real” camera (Olympus OM-D 300x1.4) for this morning’s visit; too close to get the whole Coop in frame. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Vance’s response is very revealing. He doesn’t say he’d tell his kids not to joke about rape or admit to supporting Hitler, only to not put it in writing where it can come back to bite you. Also, “especially my boys”? 🤔

Somebody just liked this old tweet, and I must say I absolutely nailed it in response to Emanuel claiming "In seventh grade, if I had known I could've said the word 'they' and gotten in the girls' bathroom, I would've done it."
This is great, but I’d be even more impressed if these reporters had ever done anything but stenography, which is precisely what Hegseth is demanding.

Make kings and queens (including self-anointed ones) afraid again.
Donald Trump, putting the “White” back in “White House”.
Pretty much the premise of this book, which I just finished reading.
Bizarre. In one sentence, AP cites “Administration officials” as denying that the $20B for Argentina has “any ties to the upcoming midterms”. In the 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑛𝑒𝑥𝑡 𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒, Trump admits it’s about “taking over a great country”! 🤦‍♂️
Words not appearing in this AP article about the most recent US murder of people in international waters in the Caribbean? “Illegal”, “international law”, and “provided no evidence”.
Sharing the WaPo obituary of legendary trans activist Miss Major: wapo.st/48wsP12
Maybe they’re just embarrassed to admit to supporting genocide, and hope if they hide their identity they won’t be confronted on it. And the concrete examples given in this WaPo article of “antisemitism” are quite revealing, and no surprise.
Entire books have been written (e.g., “Rogue State” by William Blum) about the US lack of respect for “the rule of law & democracy overseas”!
OMG. Did the WaPo really imply that the US has a history of promoting “the rule of law & democracy overseas,” & that Trump asking for a Netanyahu pardon was a break from that? 🤦‍♂️ They don’t even have to go back to a day or two earlier when Trump illegally killed Venezuelans!
Isn’t “mobsters and President Donald Trump” redundant?
Trump says if Hamas doesn’t disarm the US will disarm them. Yeah, I’m sure that will go over really well with the American people, as the Americans start returning in body bags like the Israelis did, and have no more success than they did.

And this one is a 𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑚𝑎 𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑖𝑒 war crime, using food (starvation) as a weapon against the civilian population.

Posts about people returning to their homes are designed to elicit a sense of conclusion, of normality, that simply does not exist when Israel dropped the equivalent of multiple nuclear weapons on an area the size of Seattle.

1. In a major capitulation to Trump, Fenway Health, a center ostensibly dedicated to LGBTQ+ healthcare, has ended its trans care program under 19.

It could have fought for its patients. It chose instead to roll over.

Community members are devastated.

Fenway Health Restricts Treatment for Patients Under 19 In Capitulation To Trump
“This is a fundamental betrayal to the core mission of Fenway and the patients they serve.”

9. California may still pass progressive legislation, but leadership is measured not by symbolic gestures—it’s measured by the courage to act when it matters. And when it came to the bill that could have made the most tangible difference for trans people this year, Gavin Newsom failed that test.
