@witchbrook.com has shared they are delaying the game to 2026. I'm not mad, I'd rather the team take their time bringing the game to life the way they've always imagined it to than rush it.

SimTower was released in 1994 by OpeNBooK and published in North America by Maxis for Windows 3.1 and Mac OS System 7. It also had Japan-only ports to the Sega Saturn and the 3DO.

"Sim" is also just the brand Maxis stuck on it to fit in with their catalog; in Japan it was just called "The Tower".

SimTower cover art, with a sticker falsely proclaiming it's "from the makers of SimCity". They published it but certainly didn't code or design it...

I've decided, that I'm going to pick up Digimon Story Time Stranger next week as my little birthday present to myself! 🥳
