I considered it—my phone runs OCR on whatever image I have on it, and does pretty well—but there are a lot of files, and text that goes on for multiple screens…

I dunno. What a pain. The lesson is: stick to plaintext.

I've a Win95 VM and managed to get "KeyView Lotus" running that lets me copy/paste from the files… but I cannot figure out how to write files from the VM to the host machine.

My grandfather's memoirs are trapped in .LWP files—that will not be read nor converted by any software I can find online! Any help or ideas?
