Bloody immigrants, coming over here from 9th century northern Europe and writing Beowulf for us.
Getting strong "I shot JFK" vibes 🤣
That money was just resting in my account.
Jim Gavin will sort it out 🤪
Would you ever move back, Jen?
Very much enjoying working in London this morning despite going to a gig in Glasgow last night (memo to self: take the Caledonian Sleeper next time).
Just spotted a posh guy with a fake moustache and nose combo queuing outside Waterstones in Woking. Must be Andrew Windsor making sure he's first in line for a special new book tomorrow morning.
The sheer audacity of extremely privileged grifters never fails to amaze me.
The Brotherhood of Man were basically Throbbing Gristle for the 1975 light ent. lobby.
Not sure I’ve ever bought that. There was plenty of weird in the charts pre-punk (T-Rex, Sparks, Bowie, New York Dolls) and plenty of naff after The Damned released New Rose and all that Free Trade Hall malarky. If anything, pop music has grown far more homogeneous in the last 30 years.

Catherine Connolly lifts her top up when visiting the Dublin Portal #Smearthebejaysus
This is a fantastic thread...
Alright, let's do it. Here's a little prospective reader's guide to every Thomas Pynchon novel. We'll take them in order of publication. This might be a long thread. Buckle up! 1/x
#speirgorm has been full of the lolz today. More of this kind of thing.
