What? Oh, this is just my "I would never kill my wife" shirt. What's the problem?

The entire "free speech on campus" moral panic was manufactured to blackmail us into making space in intellectual life for bigots and charlatans who couldn't get there on their own merits. Its a DEI scheme for fascism. Congratulations to everyone who took it at face value.
“Following his lecture, Yarvin will debate the legendary British historian David Starkey on history and the future of conservatism.” Everything about this is so cursed. Masks off at the University of Oxford.
With MS kind of wanting out I suppose we should be thankful their gaming division hasn't been told to the Saudis yet.
They approached this from the wrong direction maybe.

I think it would be easier to convert a plane into a car as the flying part is the hard part.
It's actually a bit strange as there are actually a few female characters in his work who are treated like full protagonists which is rare for old sci-fi. But I suppose just liking women and respecting boundaries are two different things.
Not going to lie, you were tempting fate.
Don't become part of the surveillance state.
At least some people still have the will to fight for liberty. UK definitely needs a free speech act after this government is in the ground.
Kind of nostalgic as I used to go to the local cinema basically every weekend as a teenager and then we'd all stuff our faces at the Pizza Hut lunch buffet. Good times.
Breaking into the Louvre in a movie: you're wearing a black turtle neck and domino mask, you're scaling the building with a grappling hook and descending through a skylight. You're avoiding lasers while your hacker friend guides you.

Breaking into the Louvre in real life: ladder.
Same with the requirement to pass A-level standard English. Half the people I know who were born here couldn't pass A-level English to save their lives.

“All my friends murdered and raped, sometimes they hung out at my house. Get over yourself.”
Wow, I'm guessing Starmer must be appalled that the Israeli police are so antisemitic.
You can't make decent money off streaming unless you are really successful anyway.

I know a guy from an indie band and they only make money through gigs and part-time work. He showed me their Spotify stats and I was impressed right up until he showed me the pittance they make from them.
What is the market for AI porn other than illegal kinds and non-consent deepfakes?

It's not like there is a shortage of porn of just about every legal variety you could imagine online.

It's like the nursery rhyme says:

Oh, the former Duke of York,
He had 12 million quid,
He gave it to victims he "never met,"
For things he "never did."

The idea that our friends, relatives, neighbours and colleagues should be summarily flung out of the country by some future Tory government because they don't fit some right wing extremist's definition of "cultural coherence" should set alarm bells ringing everywhere.
Sunday Times interview Tory "rising star" Katie Lam

She is clear she wants lots of legal migrants to be told to "go home" so as "to leave a mostly but not entirely culturally coherent group of people"

(The interviewer suggests she is scrapping ILR or stripping people of it)
People reaching adulthood are always the new force in politics because children aren't much involved in politics.

Also I don't understand why protests around the world are called 'gen-z' protests. Protest movements have always traditionally been led by young people and students. That's not new.
The problem is not the idea that technology can fix things but that technology necessarily fixes things.

Some argue that blindly pursuing advances will inevitably solve our problems. This has never worked before but that doesn't stop them.

There needs to be the intention to do something.
Ozempic ain't got shit.
Answer for anyone interested: look in the mirror.
So his big punishment for his misdeeds is to basically be given all the accolades the rest of us are born (none) with and lead an affluent life free of responsibility that most people can't dream of?
As hard as it may be to believe we are actually in an age of unprecedented education and mass literacy.

I think the feeling that everyone is dumb is because old media only allowed erudite opinion whereas now everyone gets to publish what they want.
Waymos aren't really driverless.
