People sit there and wonder why the shit I build works so well and how the fuck I did it for a fraction of the price that they thought possible. It’s not hard, honestly: design for the marginalized

The power law cuts both ways. Use it to your advantage!

after being frozen for months, exlings is back. v0.2.0 just shipped with a complete CLI for learning Elixir
through hands-on exercises. Inspired by rustlings and ziglings.

perfect for beginners or devs coming from other languages! would like to ask for feedback+

I started reading that as something about breaking their heart. Only if they picked up Omarchy thinking it was a swell thing by swell folks.

Though it based on Ubuntu though? I may be out of date.
I will cast pods! You cannot stop me! 🪄
The iPod was never much a thing in my life or around me. Podcasts are a continuous matter in my life. Having a quicker way to refer to them is practical.

I know the pods came from the iPod. But they have achieved escape velocity in my book.

Funky etymology but I am fine with it :)

@commodoreofficial.bsky.social time to make good ! let’s get ‘em
Bad News for Apple and IBM.

Shots fired, literally in the case of this ad, by Commodore as it pitches the Commodore 128 as the business computer of choice.
A rather clever ad with a photo of a C128 computer with a bowler hat (representing IBM) and an apple bitten into with an arrow through it resting on top and the tagline. It also lists of the pros against the competitors such as an 80 column display and up to 512k of memory.
I might know the answer but I will throw it out here.

Is Advanced Data Protection and similar actually resistant to the platform owner deciding to change the software and extract your stuff. They have access, since their software can display it.

My assumption is no. Gotta trust Apple/Signal, etc.
Thanks. It's been rolling along for a minute. Thanks for all the good changelogs. They really help :D

In a not so surprising turn of events an improv comedy group gave me a pretty good sense of Diffie-Hellman.

And then I had to very elsewhere. I don't trust improv comedy groups very far.
It is. But it is like 2024 or maybe even 2023 amazing :P

Oban is continually exceptional of course.

But we only really talk about the last few months of stuff and I don't care about phoenix dot new unfortunately.. so enjoy it. But it the hype is old :)

Feels pretty surreal to finally be holding the Ash Framework book in my hands. Thank you to everyone (especially @zachdaniel.dev and the team at @pragprog.com) who helped make this happen!
