Aww thank you! (Also I personally suck at running)
Thank you @kaitlynleann17.bsky.social @lydialukidis.bsky.social and @professoraixa.bsky.social for hosting #FallWritingFrenzy and prompting me to take a break from revisions to write some fresh YA words.

Would it be too literal to glue your goal to your arm?
Yay @mikeflowers.bsky.social who always writes poems that crack me up !
I can't tell you how good getting the tiered extra special rejection feels:) come on, Poetry Gods... soon!
Totally! I was like I think it’s my time to shine!
Interesting plot classification!
The three kinds of plots (IMO) are Conflicts (one entity vs another), Mysteries (a search for something), and Lacks (a protagonist needs something to be fulfilled). If you can figure out which one you’re writing, it will help clarify your inciting incident, climax, & everything in between.
Sometimes writing poetry is just adding a space before a line. Removing the space. Then adding the return again. #poetry

Don't miss @laurimeyers.bsky.social's poem "Well-Dressed Tree" in Issue 10: An Ekphrasis Adventure, inspired by @anniellewe.bsky.social's illustration, Laundry Tree.

Illustration by Anna Lleweylln of a tree, its bare branches draped with clothes. Accompanying the illustration is part of the poem "Well-Dressed Tree" by Lauri C. Meyers.
Please send your tips for eradicating house gremlins! I have replaced dishwasher, toilet, water heater, shower head, basement steps, AC unit, and 4 smoke detectors in the last few months. My house is clearly infested with GREMLINS! What actions should I take?

Love Elyse Myers posts about neurodiversity. On this one she shares the tip of starting a blank page with “this could be the best thing i’ve ever written…” to get started. www.facebook.com/share/r/1BvD...
