SCOTUS declined to explain why ICE can use race to abduct you off the street without probable cause but the government is absolutely forbidden to use race to preserve the voting rights of historically marginalized and minoritized communities.

roberts thinks it is an affront that a community of upstanding citizens can not do as it chooses when it comes to voting. if that means that they might discriminate against a racial minority, he has no problem with that either as long as it is facially neutral.

I'm sad that churches played such an outsized role in preparing their flocks while speaking out for trump.
What a shameful day for believers. Believers in Christ, that is. I think God just let their puffer continue so they could be humbled.
But I'm not a church-goer, so take me w/ a grain of salt.

Trump embodies every deadly sin, and church leaders ignore that. We left "the church" over a decade ago amidst the prosperity gospel preaching years. The minister actually said from the pulpit that if you vote for Democrats you can't be a Christian!

That's interesting because I remember hearing about Reagan's nod to a corporate takeover of government in the 70's, when he cut their tax rate by over 50% and lied to the American people on tv.
