I started to draw in Nov '23, just to see where the journey goes. Now I'm at a point I can carefully call myself an digital artist.

Due to work I don't have that much time to draw, so I mostly hang to symmetry and portraits or build my own little world with the OCs I have.

... I needed to get it off my head somehow.

Update to this: At least the "big thing" finally seems to develop for the better. Just hope it'll stay like this.
I wouldn't be able to live with the knowledge, that all what I've done in this regards would've been for literally nothing. But currently... I at least do feel way better.

Update to my current Artblock:
I tried to draw. I picked up my pen, had the canvas in front of me and tried to draw at least something. But it felt wrong, like there's no soul behind it.
Well, before I start to develop a disliking to drawing, I'll wait with it for a bit longer.

I think... I absolutely deserved my nap today. And after that, I'll try to draw again.

This week was by far the worst I had in a very long time. But maybe... just maybe... things will finally go up again from today on.

I just can't stop crying, even when nothing's lost yet.

He's ~10 years old by now, but cockatiels can go from 15 to 20 years. Naturally, I don't want him to go yet. Luckily Aiden still chirps from time to time and is nibbling on my finger. He eats a lot and is drinking like usual.

I immediately bought a new cage, which cost me a total of ~300€.
I would've spend thousands of bucks for my bird if I had to, I don't care.
Also I need to give him 4 different medications over 14 days. I just hope that it works out for Aiden.

To give some context at my previous post:
Today I had to go to the vet with my cockatiel Aiden. Turned out he's suffering from a heavy case of metal poisoning, because he bit off the metal from their previous cage and only weighs 60 grams - as much as a budgie. Also his intestints are catastrophic.

I'm sorry that my posts weren't "happy butterflies" during the last weeks. But since September only two good thing have happened to me, and that's my short trip to Bavaria and that I got friends stay over for a week.

Slowly I'm reaching my limit and I don't know how to deal with it.

Hopefully things will get better soon. The last few weeks were absolutely crushing my motivation to do... anything.

I'd like to try to draw something Halloween-themed as a profile, but I just lack the motivation to start.

Maybe this weekend. But it depends on stuff that's out of my reach 🫠

But I was remembered why I hate the central station of Hamburg so much. You can't wait for the train for 2 minutes without being asked for money by people who can't speak a single word of german.
