This whole thread!!! when I talk about YA authors getting picked up to write romantasy, it's overwhelmingly white authors writing het romance. but that represents just a fraction of what's actually happening in the YA space.

Found out that the latest Nobel Peace Prize winner is a staunch ally of Netanyahu's and signed a cooperation agreement with the Likud party, which makes perfect sense. This is a prize that went to Kissinger and Obama, after all.

Actually a good illustration of how there is no liberal narrative anymore--it's vestigial, absorbed into the fascist narrative because liberal imperialism tilted the scales toward the nazis. Now there are liberals celebrating a politician who supports Trump & Netanyahu because 'democracy'.

This woman praised Milei and said their projects were on the same length wave, that should give you a clue.

I think the Hikaru anime is boring, I was bored and I love the manga and would re-read it any time. I think the script was just pretty mediocre, lots of changes without any reason, made up scenes etc
