- 5% of your purchase goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Big takeaway from a short revisit? Way more dinosaurs than I remembered.
Downloading Dead or Alive 4 in memory of Tomonobu Itagaki and because it is one of the few fighting games I ever really got into and its official store description reads like a series of hashtags.

“mighty magnificent stimulating fighting!”

Happy Pokémon Legends: Z-A launch day.
A Pikachu statue that usually charges your phone holding a copy of Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
My brand is on the ‘OKAY TO EAT OCCASIONALLY’ list so I’m probably fine, right? Right?!

This is your fault somehow, Brian.

I didn’t listen to every episode of WTF, but I have basically been listening since it began. It and This American Life were podcasts I would manually transfer to my Zune, to give a timestamp. I’ll miss it. He read an email from me on a live episode around 2010. I’ll have to try and find it…
Shout out to me for keeping this plant alive for more than a few days.
A happy little plant.
And that’s why you don’t watch bad movies ironically.
The lesson man from Arrested Development.
Got asked today if I had a son that worked at the Target I was in. I said no, so they asked if I had a brother that worked there.

I was wearing a red shirt, so I was asking for it this time.
I don’t know how to monetize it as a skill, but I am constantly asked, “Do you work here?” everywhere I go.

It can be a restaurant or a clothing store or a book store. It’s usually at Target and I am never wearing a red shirt. I just look like an employee, I guess.

I enjoyed our 24 hours of Kojima-esque marketing from Nintendo.
An updated version of Nintendo's "Close to You" animated short confirms it was Pikmin all along. gameinformer.com/2025/10/07/u...
In the future, the art of delegation will be perfected.
See Charles, I told you!
Looks like they’re trying to figure out the location of Jake Sully.
The scene from Avatar: The Way of Water where the military is trying to figure out Jake Sully’s location by torturing Spider.
Yeah, it was a little odd. It was mostly action sequences and underwater sequences that were higher frame rate. But it did make me feel like I was truly watching something entirely new, which I don't often feel.
After seeing Avatar: The Way of Water this weekend in IMAX with the higher frame-rate scenes... I think am a proponent for it now? It's certainly unique.

They didn't 😩

Needed IMAX Laser glasses, which these were not.
My glasses didn’t work. I had to use the theater’s 😢
Getting ready for Avatar: The Way of Water IMAX 3D this weekend like a real fan*.

*And by real fan I, of course, mean I think the Avatars are neat, but mostly I just like big spectacle movies that are best experienced in specific formats and also I skipped it the first time it was in theaters.
An Amazon page for 3D glasses.
